Goodness gracious, I had a wonderful time at... well, my house last night.
=)
We had Brett, Christopher, Micah, Matthew, Matthew, (and...) Matthew, Mandy, Michelle, (me!!), Richard, Lori, Barbara & her husband, Peppy's parents (kind of sad I don't know their first names), Kathy, Rocky, and Isaac, Ross, Sheila, Kellie (I finally got it right!), Ellen, Lilly, Clara, Tilda, and I think that's all... over last night from 6 till 1 am.!!!
I had tons of fun, I think it was the best one yet! Actually, I take that back, because four people were missing. Alex, Pam, Mike, and Tasha.
=(
But we still had a lot of fun. And Brett even drank a suspicious white liquid and didn't dissapear! That's probably because he had his short little septor (with a cord) close by. Oh, but I forgot, he isn't a king, just a really smart - oh. Sorry. You have absolutely no idea what I am talking about.
Haha! Maybe you do!

Okay, sorry. So we played pictionary, the Noridahoscholer* way. Well, gotta go. But not before...
One word (or phrase) I think of when I think of them...
Alex - Veggie Tales!
Aubrey - "Some of my projects include goals like revolutionizing online commerce, catalyzing digital information dissemination, and providing the world with tools to make computers more friendly, productive, and useful."

Alrighty...
Bye now.
Bye for now.
For now, bye.
Whatever.

A song...

This song is very true...
I edited it, so if you've heard this song, it might be different. =)

There's a moment in time
And it's stuck in my mind
Way back, when we were just kids
Cause your eyes told the tale
Of a musical scale
I knew that somebody sang
Oh, waves of time
Seem to wash away
The scenes of our songs
But for you this song never ends
Can you stay strong?
Can you go on?
Kristy are you doing okay?
A rose that won't bloom
Winter's kept you
Don't waste your whole life trying
To get back what was taken away
Oh, clouds of time
Seem to rain on a
Innocent frame of mind
And it never goes away
Can you stay strong?
Can you go on?
Kristy are you doing okay?
A rose that won't bloom
Winter's kept you
Don't waste your whole life trying
To get back what was taken away
Mary Jo could care less
Oh yeah she's way obsessed
I knew that something was wrong
And I should have spoke out
And I'm so sorry now
I just didn't know how
Just a slip of the tongue

Can you stay strong?
Can you go on?
Kristy are you doing okay?
A rose that won't bloom
Winter's kept you
Don't waste your whole life trying
To get back what was taken away

You're probably wondering what in the world this song is about.
=)
It's about a girl who is watching her friend, Kristy. Kristy and this girl are best friends. (This girl is singing the song.) Kristy wrote a song for 'the girl', and 'the girl' forgot it, but Kristy didn't. Kristy could never forget it. Then it changes, and Kristy gets cancer, and so 'the girl' sings, "Can you stay strong, can you go on? Kristy are you doing okay?" Then the docs say she won't make it... "A rose that's won't bloom, winter's kept you," Then her hair fell out, "Don't waste your whole life trying to get back what was taken away." And Mary Jo is a girl who was teasing her about her baldness. The 'slip of the tongue' is about how Mary Jo was teasing her and she really probably didn't mean it.
=)
So that's that!

Love is an action.

What is love? I mean, really. What is love? Is love a reaction? Meaning you react to something someone did to or for you? Or is love a desire? A wanting. Or maybe love is simply a smile. But what makes someone smile? Love? Or happiness? Happiness. So is love happiness?
Love is happy, yes. But is love always easy? Well, that depends on what love is, right?
=D
    Maybe love is...
1.
a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
OR... 2.
a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3.
(bleep) passion or desire.
4.
a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.
5.
(used in direct address as a term of endearment, affection, or the like): Would you like to see a movie, love?
6.
a love affair
7.
affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor.
8.
strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything: her love of books.
9.
the object or thing so liked: The theater was her great love.
10.
the benevolent affection of God for His creatures, or the reverent affection due from them to God.
11.
Chiefly Tennis. a score of zero; nothing.
12.
a word formerly used in communications to represent the letter L.
–verb (used with object)
13.
to have love or affection for: All her pupils love her.
14.
to have a profoundly tender, passionate affection for (another person).
15.
to have a strong liking for; take great pleasure in: to love music.
16.
to need or require; benefit greatly from: Plants love sunlight.
17.
to embrace and kiss (someone)
18.
to have love or affection for another person; be in love.

19.
love up, to hug and cuddle: She loves him up every chance she gets.

20.
for love,
     a.
out of affection or liking; for pleasure.
     b.
without compensation; gratuitously: He took care of the poor for love.
21.
for the love of, in consideration of; for the sake of: For the love of mercy, stop that noise.
22.
in love, infused with or feeling deep affection or passion: a youth always in love.
23.
in love with, feeling deep affection or passion for (a person, idea, occupation, etc.); enamored of: in love with the girl next door; in love with one's work.
24.
no love lost, dislike; animosity: There was no love lost between the two brothers.
Inerteresting. (My new favorite word.) There was actually more definitions, but I didn't think they were very appropriate. =)
So according to the dictionary, love is 28 different things. But what is love to God? 'Ever thought of that? Is love really just 'pleasure'?

God thinks of love as obedience. If we love Him, we'll obey Him. It's an act. Doing something. Showing that you love (him/her/it) by doing something to prove it. You don't just love something/one and never ever ever do anything about it!

My family has thing odd little language for animals - especially dogs. My dad's whole family does it, and now my family does it. Whenever there's a cute pup, we speak in a really high voice (kind of like a puppy, actually) and squeak out, "Oo... poor pupper, he's so dumb!" Or something. We speak and pat and rub to show our dogs that we love them. In turn, they whine and grunt.
=)
Love is an action. Not a reaction. Not a desire or mistake. Love is an action.

Jamie's Fall

Jamie looked out her window. She was a passenger in a fifteen-seater van heading to Mexico. Jamie was fifteen, and usually loved road trips. She had been enjoying this one, but halfway through, she had gotten motion sickness, and wasn’t feeling to well. She studied the mountains. They were in Idaho, coming from Canada. The mountains were very beautiful, even though it was March; there was still snow on the tops of the highest ones. She noticed they were heading into a small city, and she dreaded the smell of McDonalds and car exhaust. She crinkled her nose.
They finally passed through the city, and were crossing over a bridge. It was a very long, beautiful bridge. The water was deep, clear, and blue. The waves were not still, by a long shot, but she still sensed calmness about it. Suddenly, she watched a man jump from the tall bridge down into the roaring waves. Jamie screamed at her uncle who was driving, “STOP THE CAR!” Her uncle swerved, braked, and stopped just off the bridge. Jamie leaped out of the car, with her uncle questioningly hurrying after her, “Jamie, what are you doing? What’s going on?” Jamie pointed to the man, “He jumped in. He needs help.” Jamie kept running while peeling off her shoes. She didn’t even think about how cold the water was, she just kept running. She was about forty feet away when something grabbed her waist and she plummeted backward.
It was her uncle, “What are you doing?” She asked, fighting to let loose and save the man, “LET ME GO!” she screamed. Her uncle turned her around, “Jamie! Calm down!” Jamie twisted and turned and finally got free, racing once more to the water. She was only ten feet away, when her uncle yelled, “The sign, Jamie, the SIGN!” Jamie paused only for a moment to look around and find a sign. She read it, ‘WARNING: It is forbidden to enter this water, there are extremely strong currents at all times of the day and year.’ Jamie looked to the bridge to think, and plunged in the icy water.

Sometimes people do wrong things for the right reason. Jamie jumped into the forbidden water (a wrong thing to do) to save someone (a right thing to do). It’s hard to know what do to in wrong-right situations. Right-right and wrong-wrong situations are easy to decipher. If you’re doing the right thing for the right reason, it’s okay to do it. If you’re doing to do the wrong thing for the wrong reason, it’s easy to not do it. Even if you’re doing the right thing for a wrong reason it’s easy to know that it’s wrong. What’s not that easy is telling whether you should do a wrong thing for the right reason. You’re inner self tells you, “In the long hall, I’m doing the right thing!” But if you had to sin (do something you know is wrong) to accomplish the good thing, you’ve lost the most important thing – your soul.
What should have Jamie done? Please email me, I’d like to know your comments.

Pictures!

In Idaho, we have awesome sunsets.
Not that other places don't have beautiful sunsets.
My pastor says only God is awesome, that people use the word awesome too much.
Yes, other places are beautiful.
But Idaho has awesome sunsets. =)

And this is beautiful baby Noah from Mrs. Spencer's family....

(I was at Kellie's birthday party, that's why I'm all dressed up in old looking clothes. I was Barbra Ann Spooner Wilberforce.) =)

Okay that was Noah's mommy, and those last two weren't of the party... =) They were of me painting at church, and a typical Idaho Mountain picture. (BTW ask my mom for rights. =P)

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does love mean?'

The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. My favorites are in bold. See what you think:

POLL - What do you rely on?

I think people rely to much on electronic devices to keep them occupied. This of course is not true for everyone, but a lot of people walk around the malls, grocery stores, book stores, and even sidewalks with an iPod in one ear, and a phone on the other.
What ever happened to riding your horse to town? Or walking and whistling out loud?
*Sigh*... The good old days. Ah, those truly were the good days. But they're not old. We can still have them still here today! I have a poll at the end of my blog. Check one of the things you can do, after you've completed it that is, and try another!

STORY - Krumple-frummped

Belinda, perched on one's rear, cocked the iced cupcake a little toward the right as her father, Cork, bended a corner. They occupied a buggy, one which they called Pandy, for the morning the account for the vehicle was established, Belinda had plucked a wild Pandananium flower. "Dearest Mr. Cork," Belinda begged her stooped father, "please do and try be mindful of me, for I maintain the world's most coveted baked good --- a cupcake." She smiled pleasantly up at him.
"Oh my dearest Belinda," He scoffed, "I might as well be a beggar with you standing there, but I do adhere acquiesce to your request."
"Mr. Cork," Belinda mused, "why does my father tease his daughter so?"
"Ah," chuckled Cork, "Tiz because I am so fond of my precious jewel, darling."
Belinda blushed, and refrained from uttering another phrase.

Soon the two were well on their way to the vicinity to where they had earlier made an appointment to be. Belinda was intensely feeling as though her stomach might as well lurch upon this wonderfully made cake, for she hadn't eaten since early that morning, and it was nearly noon if not past it entirely. Cork and his daughter worked their way to the front door of an old temple, one that was not fit for such highly esteemed as these. It's walls were falling apart, the doors wavering in the wind, yet inside, twas decorated in such a likable fashion, you should forget you had ever been by a horror at all. Mr. Cork took the cake from Belinda, as she stroll up the walk, and up the stairs. Then, he replaced it back into her own palms, and opened the door to her. She almost fell apart at the seams. Here was Rupurt, her dearly sick cousin. And Rodrigious, her Uncle of him. Belinda was nearly so joyful at seeing these old friends, she hardly noticed all of them were eating moldy bread or nothing that was appetizing. At that, she dropped the cake, and it fell to the ground with a splat. Belinda fainted, and Truly, another friend, helped her to a table where she lay wait. the cake, after all, was indeed alright, it had just suffered being gravitated to the ground. Also the like was Belinda, after gaining consciousness again shortly. Seeing ones such as old friends, dearly beloveds, cousins, and old acquaintances made her feel krumple-frumped inside, but she was at the least doing alright. She had the wonderful ability to take a chance at speaking to her past acquaintances, and that made her gleeful.

Suddenly, her name rang out throughout the room. Belinda gasped.

"Did I truly hear my voice? And why, then, did who called it call it?" She inquired.

Another ringing of her name sent her flying to her papa, terrified.

"Why, dear one, are they calling out your name you ask?" He lifted her chin. "Ah, Lindy. It is not their voices, but the voices of them which is inside of them. The ones - the spirits - that are inside of them want you. They want to take you away from me."

By now, a few effortless tears dripped from her lashes to her cheek as she quietly understood what her unearthly father was saying.
"Now, dear one, is your time. what will you choose: us or them?"

"I cannot make that decision myself, father, you know-"
"Ah, but you can. Now which one do yo choose? Me? Or them?"
    "I choose you."
Then, Belinda's name rung out once more.

"Belinda, are you not the one who has baked and frosted the world's best and largest cup cake?"
    Belinda blushed. "Yes, I am."
"Then we do not want you here. Go."
Belinda almost dropped faint again. "But I have worked so hard!"
"And that is precisely why we do not allow you here."
"I see." Belinda and her father walked silently out the door, with the cup cake, hand in hand."

PHOTOS - Adorible things

I honestly don't think that this world will last (although absolutely no one knows) until I can have children - sad, but true. (It'd have to be at least 8 years from now, so I'd be 22.) So, I bought my self an adorable 12x12 baby calender and for some odd reason looooooove baby clothes! I don't know why! Something isn't wrong with me, I just will (hopefully) be a good mother someday and have lots of children!
